The benefits of our machine mastication include low ground impact and disturbance compared to other types of machines. The by-product is a "shredded" mulch which helps retain soil moisture and valuable nutrients.
Mastication is not always the answer on every project. Some projects by there nature are better served by Ground Crews and chipping. Chippers produce a smaller 'flake' or 'chip' of wood as opposed to a 'shred' with a masticator. The added benefit to ground crew work is the lowest overall impact to the land base.
